Robert S . Linthon scammed us. According to yelp.com and the Better Business Bureau he has scammed many others.
It appears that Robert Linthon's real name is Robert Steven Smith, according to this website http://www.homefacts.com/offender-detail/. It appears from this site that he also goes by the names of:
Robert Castro
Robert Castrolinthon
Robert Linthon
He has two catering companies: Pascali Wedding Catering and Affordable Elegance Catering. These both receive the lowest possible ratings from consumer reviews.
Here is what he does according to our experience and from what you can read on reviews: He offers to come to your home, at no charge, to let you sample his food. The food is decent and his prices are very affordable. He is somewhat creepy looking but affable enough, as most scam artists are. He usually offers a 20% discount if you commit that day or the next with a down payment. If you are lucky, the deposit is all you'll lose. For many, he continues the scam up until your wedding day after you've spent thousands of dollars. Sometimes he doesn't bother to show up on your big day, othertimes he shows up with cold food in insufficient quantities. Bottom line, do NOT trust this person, he stole our money and ruined our wedding. Don't let this happen!
This is a true scumbag. I wouldnt let him in my house or around any kids (see link above)
